A overview of the ADVS advanced submissions mod and other available mods for the phpLD directory script with samples and screenshots.

php Link Directory Mods offers the following mods for the phpLD directory script.
Below is a list and overview. You may click on the links for detailed information on each mod type.

Items 1 through 4 in the top section are all part of the ADVS mod system for phpLD.

1.Deep Links mod for phpLDwith description fields. This is a must have mod for any serious phpLD directory owners wishing to have advanced submissions options for their directory's users that will boost paid submission rates.
Several versions are available with or without description fields and variable deep links. Standard is 3 and 5 deep links with description fields. We can customize the mod for you if you prefer different number of links. Anti-link fraud system is incorporated to prevent deep links from being submitted unless the people submitting links choose the proper option.

2. Optional Submissions Module is incorporated in with the deep links mod and gives directories more and varied submissions options such as featured year, 2 years, and or featured 6 months. This too can be customized for different link types with different expiration times if needed and also incorporated into the phpLD optional submissions module is our automatic expiry date systemthat will correctly read any link types and if they are a link type that expires then the expiry date mod will automatically stamp the correct expiry date into your admin panel for each link that is submitted.

3.RSS Blog Feed for Links details page Included with the ADVS mod system is the ability to submit a link to the site's blog feed. Then on the details page it will not onnly display a link to the blog feed but also display a live updated portion of the feed right on the details page giving your site fresh content that is updated whenever the site updates the blog. This not only gives the directory great fresh related content to the site but also gives more information about the site on it's details page. This will also be available as a stand alone mod in our members section.

4. SEF URL's for Details Page Mod

This will make all your 'Read More' links to your details page search engine optimized and give the details link the title to the site such as www.yourdirectory.com/customer-website-title-link-99.html. This is free with any of the mods installation listed. This provides a great benefit to your directory and to those websites submitting links to your directory. The better your directory is set for seo and proper links details for all submitted sites the more people will want to submit to your directory.

1. Make Normal Paid Links - Express Links - View Sample Page

a. If your web directory accepts free or reciprocal links then what this modification will do is list all your paid normal links below the featured links but above all free orreciprocal links. Great for paid directories that accept free reciprocal links to help generate more sales. All featured links will be listed at the top of the page followed by all Normal - Paid links which will be 'Express Links' then followed by all regular free and reciprocal links

2. Link upgrade payment section on the details page

a. This mod will automatically detect the link type and offer upgrade optionsIf the link is featured then no option will show. If the link is Normal Paid(Express)then an option to upgrade to featured is shown. If the link is free or reciprocalthen options are available to upgrade to Express or Featured.
b. When a notification is received for a upgrade payment you will receive all the link details from PayPal. You then have a link type upgrade section added into your admin panel where you can upgrade the link type easily.This is a must have mod for paid directories that accept free reciprocal links. With these options your directory submitters can upgrade their links at anytime so if they have first submitted as a reciprocal link they can upgrade to regular paid or featured link status and be listed above all free links.

3. Top Site Highlight on Featured Links

What this mod will do is add a private contact form to the details page of links that have supplied the optional contact information. The email address is totally hidden from humans or spam bots. It is a private contact form just for the website's details page.

Also this mod can be customized to incorporate many different fields to make a complete questioner form or reservation form. Contact us for further information.

FREE phpLD Mods for Instant Download

1. RSS News Feed Modis a free mod that you may download and install in your site to give your directory simple news feeds. It can be configured to feed certain types of news such as business, world, tech, or other news types that you would like. Comes with installation instructions and is free to download and use.
2. Google Sitemap Mod for phpLD is another free mod that needs to be downloaded in 2 parts. Our mod to work in the phpLD directory script would be downloaded from our site and the phpSitemapGenNG script would need to be downloaded from that developers site. Comes with instructions to install and setup but no support is offered. More information can be obtained from the phpSitemapNG developers site about their sitemap generatorfor Google, Yahoo and MSN sitemaps.
