The expiry date mod for phpLD is an addition that we incorporate into the deep links mod that automatically time stamps the expiry date for link submissions.

This mod is incorporated into the advanced submissions and deep links mod that will automatically time stamp the expiry date into your admin panel no matter what you have set in your admin panel be it regular links or subscriptions, the expiry date mod will read it correctly and add it to your directory with the correct expiry date if any.

What this mod will do is read the setting that you have in your admin - payments section for Time Unit which you can set for 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, 1 year and unlimited. So no matter what you set in your admin panel, the time stamp mod will read it and automatically time stamp the expiry date. For instance if you set your directory for unlimited and offer the 1 year featured option for your users then when a user chooses the 1 year featured link it will add the link and automatically timestamp the expiry date for 365 days. When other users choose unlimited links it will leave the expiry date blank as it will never expire.

With this mod in conjunction with the optional link submissions you can offer lifetime regular and featured links plus either 1 month or 1 year featured links that will auto convert to lifetime regular links after the expiration date and control all dates and pricing right from your admin panel. All expiry dates are automatically time stamped in your database and viewed in your phpLD admin panel upon link submission. No matter what you have set in your admin panel be it regular links or subscriptions the advanced submissions mod will read it correctly and add it to your directory with the correct expiry date if any.

Note in the 'Link Expires' section the expiry date is automatically calculated and time stamped in your database viewable and editable in your admin section. This allows true and complete automation through all types of link submissions.
